Welcome to the UKLF Predator League 2016.

Prizes for:

  • 3rd Place
  • The top 10 longest fish for each species submitted to the competition will appear on the leader board, the longest fish will gain the most amount of points.
  • Increase your points by catching bigger fish than your competitors in as many different species as possible.
  • At the end of the year the winner will be the one with the highest amount of points.
  • All fish measuring over 30cm submitted to the competition will gain a minimum of 1 point (only one per species)
  • To enter is FREE!
  • Read the rules below first, then "like" and post a photo or video of your catch to www.facebook.com/UKLFcompetitions .
  • Once you have emailed or posted your catch we will review your entry and if successful, you will be entered into the competition and your name will be added to the leader board on the next update. Feel free to add the weight of the fish too and we will put that in brackets on the leader board.
  • Don't forget to add your team name plus any sponsors you may have.
  • What happens if I catch a longer fish but already have 1 listed? Your longest fish submitted will replace any of a lower length.
  1. The competition starts on 1st January 2016 00:01 and ends 25th December 2016 00:00.
  2. Entries to the competition must be between the above dates to qualify.
  3. Fish entered to be a minimum of 30cm.
  4. All fish measuring over 30cm submitted to the competition will gain a minimum of 1 point (only one per species)
  5. All fish entered into the competition must be within 30 days of the original capture date.
  6. All fish entered into the competition must have been caught in the U.K by artificial fly or lure.
  7. Only fish caught by the mouth can be entered.
  8. A photo of good quality must be submitted of your catch with a visible measure along the length of the fish in centimeters.
  9. The measurement recorded from the nose to the fork in the tail (see diagram below).
  10. Fish that measure between centimeter increments shall be recorded at the lower of the two increments. For example, a fish that measures between 45 and 46 centimeters will have a recorded length of 45 centimeters.
  11. Please submit any fish to be entered to: www.facebook.com/UKLFcompetitions, along with relevant information including length in cm and what type of lure it was caught on.
  12. The Judges decision is final
